May 2, 2024 - Shelby County Today has received reports as of 8:50am, May 2, 2024, that North Circle in Center has some standing water due to flooding.
There is also reported water across the roadway at U.S. Highway 59 at the railroad overpass in Tenaha.
9:41am - Constable Roy Cheatwood reports water across U.S. Highway 84 at Joaquin apartments, and also at the Joaquin High school.
10:08am - Water is reported over the roadway on State Highway 87 between Timpson and Center at Penson Creek.
10:08am - A tree is across the roadway on FM 139 just east of State Highway 87 at Lout Town.
Driver's are encouraged to use extreme caution and especially slow down for emergency personnel.
